3. Common Concerns

Please find below some common concerns for all the places of interest in SE Asia countries:

  • Dress code for visiting temples in any of these countries –  the visitors must wear proper clothes. Please ensure all clothing is below knee level when visiting temples (for both men & women).  It is advised you can bring sarong (a loose skirt consisting of brightly colored fabric wrapped around the body; worn by both women and men in the SEAsia countries) otherwise you can get one at the entrance of the temples.
  • Use of camera for photography and video are not allowed inside most of the temples. Some temples do not allow the use of flash. Use camera with discretion. Do not uses flash when the devotees are praying.  It will be better not to use flash at all.
  • Do not stand directly in front of the priest, or walk in front of the kneeling congregation. Do not  not remain standing when people kneel to pray.
  • If people are praying, avoid getting between them and direction in which they are praying.
  • While praying,  kneel down.  Also ensure your feet do not point towards the deities.

4. Internal Transport

Within the country, the group will be travelling by coach bus which comes with comfortable seats with air-conditioning.

5. Uniqueness of the South East Asian Countries

  • Angkor Archaeological Park — magnificent remains of several capitals of the Khmer Empire
  • Bali — unique Hindu culture, beaches and mountains on the Island of the God
  • Bangkok – enjoy your dinner in the cruise as the Bangkok’s grand sceneries as your background.
